400 square foot floating home is the perfect getaway for kayakers, wakeboarders or anyone looking for a place to relax on the water. This home is located at Casselman’s Wharf on the Multnomah Channel facing Sauvie Island. This is one of the most peaceful and private moorages along the channel. Home has a full bathroom, captain’s bed in bedroom (full sized) with lots of storage underneath, galley kitchen with stainless steal countertops, living room, covered deck and swim float. Home has three skylights (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen) and a stackable washer and dryer. Both the home and slip are for sale. The asking price for the structure is 10k. The slip has a 45k slip fee (acts as credit at resale). There is a moorage fee of $504 a month. Owner is willing to carry contract at a low rate with 20% down and excellent credit score. Home needs a new float. Owner has quotes available.
I am also willing to remove the home if a party is interested in the slip to move-in another floating home.

Editor Comments:  Compared to the prices in Seattle, this is an amazing bargain.   House does need serious work with float problem.   And what’s with the $504 a month moorage fee when you “own” the slip for $45000?     I’ve been to this marina and I’ve been in the waterway.  Parking isn’t exactly scarce, so all that for water, sewer and garbage?   This is also a beautiful waterway just off the Columbia River.  I’ve spent a couple of nights here in my Escargot Shantyboat.  VERY nice area.
