This is a replica 1830s Kentucky flatboat. It was just christened and sailed from Elizabeth Pennsylvania to New Orleans this summer by New York Times Best selling author Rinker Buck.. NO SHIT…. REALLY. The trip will be the source of his next book on the History of the great American Rivers. See his web site here http://www.flatboatpatience.com.
Now that the trip is over Rinker needs to find a good home for the Flatboat Patience. The boat is wired for AC and DC and has a mercury four stroke 115HP with 1500 hours and a backup fours stroke 25HP yamaha with 400 hours. Everything is negotiable. Its a great party boat, A family boat, an ideal hunting platform, or perhaps ideal for a New Orleans restaurant looking for something really unique. Past story.
